Role: Complex Healthcare Assistant

Location of care package: Sholing/Southampton

Hourly pay rate: £16.25-£17.00 + 30p per mile travel contribution (maximum of 50 miles per shift)

Shifts available:

  • Week 1 Tuesday and Friday Night

  • Week 2 Tuesday and Saturday Night

  • Every Thursday 16:30-20:30

Please note that Unity Care Solutions offer zero-hour contracts with flexible hours, subject to availability at the start of your employment. You may also have access to a range of shifts and alternate locations.

The job role

We are recruiting for a Complex healthcare assistant to support our 15 year old male client overnight in his own home based in Sholing, Southampton. He requires regular medications, saturation monitoring, nebuliser therapy, suctioning and overnight CPAP ventilation.

As a Complex Healthcare Assistant, experience in the following is preferred:

  • Personal Care

  • Manual Handling

  • Medication

  • Seizure Management

  • Emergency Medication

  • Social Interaction

  • Ventilator Awareness

  • Nebulisers

  • Suctioning

  • Non Verbal Communication

  • Enteral Feeding
