Role: Female Complex Healthcare Assistant

Location of care package: Eastbourne

Hourly pay rate: £13.50

Shifts available: 1 x 8 hour shift per week (Day to be discussed at interview)

Please note that Unity Care Solutions offer zero-hour contracts with flexible hours, subject to availability at the start of your employment. You may also have access to a range of shifts and alternate locations.

The job role

We’re looking for an experienced Female Healthcare Assistant to support a 23-year-old client with complex healthcare needs. She has epilepsy (requiring rescue medication), ADHD, and sometimes displays challenging behaviors due to anxiety. She also uses a gastro-jejunal feeding tube. This role involves providing care both at home and in the community, helping her lead a more comfortable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, including emergency seizure medication.

  • Manage seizures

  • Provide support with enteral feeding

  • Assist with social interactions

  • Handle challenging behaviours calmly and effectively
