Role: Complex Healthcare Assistant
Location of care package: Chilworth, Southampton
Hourly pay rate: £15.50-£17.00
Shifts available: Wednesday 16:00-22:00, Friday 19:00-23:00 and Saturday 08:00-12:00
Please note that Unity Care Solutions offer zero-hour contracts with flexible hours, subject to availability at the start of your employment. You may also have access to a range of shifts and alternate locations.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Healthcare Assistants to provide essential care for our 25-year-old male client, who lives at home with his family. As a result of the client’s cognitive impairment this role would be ideal for someone with joint adult and childcare experience or a background in providing nurturing, hands-on support.
Our client has epilepsy, a tracheostomy, and a gastrostomy, and he requires assistance with mobility, personal care, and various daily activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine medical care with a nurturing, child-centered approach to enhance his quality of life.
He enjoys activities such as socializing, going on outings, listening to live music, and watching rugby and football. As his Complex Healthcare Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting these activities, ensuring he can safely participate in the things he loves while remaining connected to his family and community.
